Can you clarify what you mean by the "CPU/Memory resource should be provided on the server"?

Because if you are monitoring the CPU on a server it gives you monitoring data for Average CPU, CPU Utilization overall, and the same for all core processors. And coming to memory it will provide complete memory utilization data for the server.

And the polling interval will just impact the data you are fetching on a specific interval So you will have CPU utilization for each second.

Just for your information: We can not change the polling interval to 1 second in SolarWinds, as it can be set to 10 seconds or greater than 10 seconds in the polling interval.
