Azure NPM monitoring of VPN Gateways in Virtual WAN

With the latest NPM installed 2023.1 i set up Cloud monitoring in Azure GOV which connects through a Virtual Wan.

I got errors for poling failed and opened a ticket only to receive an answer of:

"Currently NPM only supports the monitoring if Virtual Network Gateways directly connected to Virtual Networks, But not Virtual WAN."

Does anyone have any solutions, workarounds or adjustments for this issue.

IF not the VPN gateways to at least get monitoring working for VNets and or IPAM in the Azure Cloud.

I feel your pain ... for my part I simply don't really understand what NPM can do in terms of Azure monitoring. I keep trying to look at it, but as so few of our clients use (AIUI) non-native Azure setups, then I can't even begin to start playing with the idea of monitoring 'something'.

All of that to say, I don't have an answer for you but I do feel your pain. Have you tried reaching out to your customer service manager / rep?
