I installed Kiwi Syslog Server and forwarded some test events from my German PC to the server (running on a German Windows 2019 server).
Using the default setting for Kiwi Syslog Server's logfileEncondigFormat ( https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/kss/content/kss_adminguide_registry_logfileencodingformat.htm ) the special characters like 'äöüß' aren't displayed properly. So I switched to UTF-8 (codepage 65001), restarted the kiwi Syslog Server service and got following output:

I also tried switching to ANSI and it worked:

Unfortunately there might also appear characters in the log message which aren't covered by ANSI so that I really need to get UTF-8 to work. Does anyone have any ideas what went wrong here, please?
