Custom Property import not working

I have Orion Platform version 2022.4.1 and have an issue with custom property day not updating after an import from an XLS file.

The XLS file has numerous empty cells in each custom property column, but not nearly as many as the number of "unknown" values shown on Manage Nodes. What could be causing this to happe?

The validation of the spreadsheet passes each time, and the import process seems to proceed and complete, but the number of unknown values does not change.

Ideas? Thanks for your help.

Probably you're matching less than 100% of whatever your "Match" fields are on the import

Name vs DNS
IP vs some other IP that's still valid
Something like that

Another thing I run into with the matching criteria is some of my nodes have short names and some have fully qualified names so in general I just match on IP Address and set caption to 'do nothing'. That helps when you may have a mismatch in the caption field from your spreadsheet and what is in Solarwinds. Typically for my environment the IP address is the more correct 'source of truth', especially if the spreadsheets are supplied from other teams.
