We've started seeing Nodes in our environment that have Interfaces associated with them from different Nodes.
For instance we have some Accedian metroNids that only have four physical ports, but looking at them in NPM, we see 20+ interfaces and they are mostly from Cisco ASR901 devices. I don't think the hardware type is the issue, just the fact that the interfaces are on the wrong nodes.
We do have discoveries scheduled and the nodes that are being updated with the wrong interfaces are in those discovery scopes.
I've contacted support, but good grief, they just aren't as responsive as they used to be.
Anyone else ever had this problem? Any ideas?
