We are suddenly seeing a new item on our Orion Website. How do I remove this icon? We are concerned that we have not done any installations or upgrades lately. How did this get on our website? What access does SolarWinds have to add to our Website?
Just heard from support:
To disable this setting please go to the advanced setting(http://{web-address}Orion/Admin/AdvancedConfiguration/Global.aspx) and once loaded, search for GtmEnabled and uncheck it. Hit save then close and it will be deactivated.
@dilbert1234
This just appeared on our page this afternoon too. What is this? We haven't done any upgrades or installations recently.
Just noticed this today on our Orion website as well. Why is this here? Also, I just checked with someone who doesn't have admin rights and they are also seeing the icon and links it contains.
I have concerns why Solarwinds thinks it's okay to put communications directly to our Orion users that we didn't approve, know about or have ability to edit? This showing up for Admin's is fine, but everyone shouldn't see this link.
Same here, it is quite annoying that this was put on without any documentation of how to disable it easily.
Yeah its blocking buttons and resources on our dashboards.
I immediately thought someone else with admin rights enabled something, and also couldn't find out how to turn it off... errr... "nice to know it's affecting other people and no one changed anything"?
Having this show up for all users of the product without any sort of change notification to admins should never occur.
Found it and that appears to have worked. Solarwinds needs to give more info on that setting "Enable OIP third-party tags".

Thank you for the more details.
I logged in this morning to turn this off and its gone without me doing anything.
