edit a custom poller

I want to tweak a custom poller. I do not want to CREATE a custom poller...I have already done that. I simply want to EDIT a poller I have already created. Orion will not let me do that. Under Manage Pollers, EDIT is greyed out. Selecting a poller changes nothing. Interestingly, if I import a poller from Thwack, I can edit it.

I just discovered that I can no longer edit an imported poller once I have assigned it. Perhaps that is the answer. Hmm...now how do I unassign the poller?

Using the Universal Device Poller application on the server the product is installed on with allow you to edit the custom UnDP or universal device poller.

I think the op means device poller such as CPU & Mem, rather than a UnDP.

@edgarbonnell I believe if it is a default poller that this is correct and you can only 'duplicate & edit'. If it is one you have created then you should be allowed to edit that until, as you have found out, you assign it.

I don't know if un-assigning it will then let you edit.
