I try upgrade solarwinds orion version 2020.2.6 to 2022.4.1 or 2023.1 via centralized upgrade but centralized upgrade stuck at 6% Please wait while SolarWinds Platform is being installed and taking long time.

but I try to install manual offline and it works.

I hate to say this but try pausing your anti-virus during the installation. It took hours on a dev box for me. I was using the online installer.

This machine is a test machine, no anti-virus program and firewall off.

Yeah I dont have a better answer for you. All I can hope, and based on your comment above is that the offline installer will work better. Wondering if there is something with the online installer and 2023.1 downloading slowly.

Hard to tell without logs or more details as well, but if others hit this, please open a ticket to investigate.

Any firewalls blocking the port outbound not on the test machine but a company firewall or ACL?

Did you have a certificate assigned to your MPE and AWS (additional web servers)? web-servers need/required to have a certificate assigned in 2023.x and you have to manually run the Configuration Wizard on the MPE/AWS to set this the first time.

We have experienced a very similar issue recently in that the centralised installer fails early on in the upgrade and were advised that it was related to the architectural changes from the two versions. Hence why the offline installer is able to cope with the changes.
