What is the Meraki Orchestrator?

I currently run 2022.4.1. I have around 70 Meraki devices that are being polled via SNMP. With this new version touting the addtional visibility, i am trying to switch to the API. The documentation says to add the Meraki Orchestrator but no one seems to know what that is?

Is it the headend device where all the SDWAN sites connect to? Is it the dashboard?

It's all very confusing and neither SolarWinds or Meraki support has given me a straight answer.

If anything has changed specifically in the last couple versions i'm unaware.

Aside from that it means add node -> meraki API. That gives you access to all the APs but no switches for some reason.
