I have a supernet of 10.X.X.X/16 - i want the subnets(eg 10.X.X.X/24) under it to be auto populated through scan. Please suggest if any options
Are you using the Network Sonar Discovery?
If not, then have a look at the documentation for it to aid you with the configuration - documentation.solarwinds.com/.../core-network-discovery-using-the-network-sonar-wizard-sw1574.htm
Click on Add >> Subnet Allocation Wizard.
I tried this method, however IP’s are not visible in the IPAM .
That's because, it does not automatically add IPs into Subnets. You can use this tool.
To add IPs to the monitored Subnets, you will need the addIp address tool
- Extract the AddIps.zip to a directory on the IPAM server- Run the file SolarWinds.IPAM.AddIps.exe/SolarWinds.Tools.IPAM.AddIps.exe- Provide your Account\Password you use in the web console and click on Refresh- After it scans, select the subnets you want the IP ranges created for- Click on Add IPs- Wait for it to finish creating the ranges

Thank you so much.
I will try this and update
Works for me, just deleted a supernet, re-added it with this method and everything is visible. We're running IPAM 2022.4.1
@gregthompson Here in the above example supernet 10.35.0.0/16 - if we add this in the subnet allocation wizard will the below mentioned subnet 10.35.0.0/22 - 10.35.84.0/22 will this be autopopulated?
as other users have already suggested solutions please also check whether global scan/subnet scan/neighbor scan has been disabled or not. then it won't be able to display the data for each ips if its being used somewhere.
