SCM can monitor changes of hardware?

I need to detect changes of hardware. For example when a disk is replace for another or a new memory card is added in a server o laptop. SCM can monitor changes of hardware?

Take a look at this SCM out of the box profiles to see some of the things you can do natively, including hardware.

You can configure SCM to monitor additional files or issue commands and monitor the output over time.
