i use below variable for getting email whenever application node down but not getting emails
${N=SwisEntity;M=Application.CustomProperties.EmailTo}

Can you confirm a few of the below things,
i). The custom property "EmailTo" has an email id that is assigned to all nodes?
ii). This variable was created by SolarWinds itself which you just added to the email notification under trigger action?
iii). Have you checked that the SMTP server is configured properly in SolarWinds, also if it is configured properly then there are no emails getting blocked from the exchange server side?
Let me know so that I can provide some points to troubleshoot.
