Problem Installing Hotfix 2020.2.6 HF5

When trying to install hotfix 2020.2.6 HF5, I encounter the odd error

"The version you are tying to install 2020.2.6 is not compatible with the version you have installed 2020.2.6. This installer requires a minimum version of 2020.2.6".

I downloaded the hotfix installer directly from our customer portal. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a workaround?

Are you installing it in a HA setup? It happened to me once, and after a while, I discovered that I was not running the install on the active engine. If so, either flap your services to the server you are working on, or run the executable on the other server.

Additionally I would recommend going to latest and greatest if you can, which is 2022.4.1. If you cannot and this is still an issue, then please open a ticket to dig into.

Hello, did you get this resolved? We are looking at upgrading to 2022.4.1 but seeing a few issues and might just upgrade to HF5.

2023.1 is the latest out there, just FYI.
