Creating default filters for All Nodes for select console user groups

Good morning,

We're looking to edit the default layout of the Orion Summery Home Page for our users / user groups. We're specifically looking to have the All Nodes widget filters set for the users so that when view only web console users log in, they' get an All Nodes view that's filtered to status and then a custom attribute. I can see the options to edit which widgets a user or group can see, but not how to edit how that widget filters by default for members of Windows Group.

Any hints?

@TCWatson, so technically there's no way to dynamically adjust a Classic view and widget based on the user viewing it. What you'd have to do is create a new view or dashboard with the desired filtering and assign it to the user/group.

If the view that you are talking about is based on Vendor, its pretty easy to apply that on the view itself. But then to me your query looks more than just one single group of folks. I am assuming you have multiple groups and each group will need to view a limited set of devices or devices that belong to them.

Try 'Account Limitation' Option on users with this you can have a generic view for all groups but that would automatically adjust based on the limitations that you set for that group of users or individual users - Hope this helps.
