Node Availability report excluding maintenance.

Hi,

I am finding something which gives me an option to exclude the time duration for pulling availability report of node.

Example: I want an availability report on node (last 30 days) but having an option which excludes maintenance window (1 AM to 3 AM) for all 30 days.

Because current availability report shows inaccurate data even if the alerts were kept on mute during maintenance, it will show down for that specific time frame.

Can anyone help here please?

This is a tricky situation because the default Out of the Box reports don't assume scheduled downtime.

How do you flag something as "down for maintenance" in your platform?

You may need to go with custom a SWQL report.

I think we may be comparing apples to oranges so to speak. You say that availability reports include data for periods when alerts are muted - which is to be expected since the nodes are being polled during those times but no alerts can trigger. I have tested and determined that time periods when nodes are "unmanaged" are correctly skipped in availability reports.
