I was editing some custom properties for some nodes and mistakenly selected all pages from my filter and ended up changing that property for all my managed nodes.
Is there a way to revert the changes back to what they were before I made the changes?
There is no undo, they don't store a history of the property data. There are events to tell you that they changed.
Here is something to look into so if it happens again you can revert back. (1) How to: Backup your Custom Properties - Forum - Network Performance Monitor (NPM) - THWACK (solarwinds.com)
Under "Edit Node Properties", I can group by Vendor, which puts all the Cisco devices
This is eerie that I did the exact same thing at about the same time. I ended up reverting the entire database... but if anyone from Solarwinds is listening, you have half of the solution in place already. The Audit logs show that I changed all of the custom properties and what I changed them "to", if you has simply also logged what I changed them "from", I could have made my own revert script.
