Is it possible to use a Wild Card cert for SEM access

Is there away for us to use a Wild Card SSL cert for Web Console access? Reading through the directions, it looks like you have to create a CSR from the SEM manager and then import a cert created from that CSR. I would really like to reduce the amount of single SSL certs to manage and purchase.

There is a workaround to this as I use a reverse proxy in front and apply the Wildcard on the Reverse proxy instead of SEM. I current do this for my production as I collect data from the remote computer this way.
