Ive added hundreds of NETWORK NODES to our environment over the years using SNMPV3 without any issues
Im running through the normal procedure i usally do to add a NEW NODE (switch)
I can get Solarwinds to see the switch and authenticate the SNMPV3 credentials between Solarwinds and the Switch ok, which in turn allows all of the switches resources to be discovered by Solarwinds such as - ports / vlans etc.
THE FINAL PART is to populate the next part of the web form with custom properties which is the same ive used many times before and then save - ADD NODE -which runs but will not process this final request.
When i select ADD NODE a it runs but doesnt go through. It just spins at the bottom left of the page as per usual but doesnt complete the process of adding the node into Solarwinds ?
Ive checked the list of already registerd nodes incase its been added on the fly - but its not there
Ive also tried to add another node (switch ) with a different IP but i get -same result.
Has anuone experienced this issue of not being able to add more nodes to their environment ?
