SQL Filtering in Web Portal

I am trying to create custom filters based upon the custom properties that I have built in Orion.  These properties are located in the EOC_NodeCustomProperties table in the EOC database but I do not see any documentation on how to use these custom properties for filters.  All of the filters that I see provided are discovered properties in EOC_NodeCore.  Does anyone know how to filter the views by the fields in EOC_NodeCustomProperties?

 In EOC you can filter by custom properties by using the following notation:

For Nodes:

Node.CustomProperty.City = 'Atlanta'

or for Interfaces

Interface.CustomProperty.Room = 1

for Volumes

Volume.CustomProperty.Drive = 2
