Anyone else seeing SNMP failures when a single DNS client event fails to resolve a name and has timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded?
I am seeing plenty of these and the quick fix is to restart the snmp service. However the failures are frequent but not on the same monitored item. Restarting the snmp service is easy but the admin tasks of submitting a notification and or waiting for a time slot that suits the customer.
