Running reports - Outside of the Full Client

Hi Everyone,

Is there a way of either running membership reports for security groups from an open template and getting the results emailed or,

Restricting access into the full client, so an end user does not have full access to all the options contained in it

I'm looking to give access to certain end users so that they can only run membership reports for security groups, nothing else

Hi James,

there is from my point of view no way to achieve your requirement by restricting the capabilities, but you might provide the users actively per mail with the membership report. I guess it is in relation to compliance and to have a recurring way to validate existing memberships. There is a way to configure the reports in the rich client.

On the other hand you could also check the recertification idea which provides a workflow for validating group memberships in a recurring way.

You can use dataowner and restrict the access to just the specific groups. Apply restrictions to the role as needed.
