I am brand new to this product so bear with me.
I may answer my own question eventually, but so far no luck as I pour over the documentation.
If Solarwinds has an NBI, what is it?

SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor is an NMS. To get data about the current active alerts, see this page: Alerts · solarwinds/OrionSDK Wiki · GitHub
The API documentation is here: Home · solarwinds/OrionSDK Wiki · GitHub and here: SolarWinds Information Service v3.0 Schema Documentation Index.
What are you looking for? I might be able to point you to the right place.
Thanks tdanner.
Specifically, I am trying to determine what interfaces/protocols Solarwinds uses to push its alarms/messages to an NMS (Network Management System).
If Solarwinds does not contain that feature, then okay, that in itself is an answer.
I might also add that Alerts can be northbounded via a number of methods. In Advanced Alert Manager, you can build trigger actions to send alerts vie page/email, etc. We use snmp trap forwarding, combined with custom trap templates that populate varbinds with alert and custom properties.
How can I change Trap Template for Send SNMP Trap in Advanced Alerts?
