How to create an alert for IIS site if the start/restart action fails using solarwinds

Hi Everyone,

I have a question regarding solarwinds IIS site monitoring. I have created an alert for one of the IIS site. I have configured auto remediation action which will start the IIS if it is stopped. But I am getting incident alert with stop and start action together.

My requirement is, whenever solarwinds detects the iis site stopped, it will start  IIS site using the configured action automatically but did not send an alert. It will send the alert only if SolarWinds action not able to start or restart the IIS site. I mean if restart/start failed using auto remediation then SolarWinds should send the alert but not with the first action itself.

There's probably a few ways to do this, the most accurate might include something that looks for the specific failure.

I'd just add an escalation level to the alert after like 5 minutes, so if it's still down email with something that said the action failed.
