Will the Orion.Nodes PollNow verb update UDT?

Question

We have a need where an engineer (who doesn't have switch access) will connect a device to an interface and want us to find their MAC, which has been plugged into the network for maybe a minute. Wondering if we could fire the "pollNow" verb, if it also updates UDT with the Mac address table and IP Arp table. Otherwise it could be up to 30 minutes from when a device is plugged in until it's found.

Although this technically is an API question (because it's based around the usage of a Verb), you might find more luck in the UDT Forum.

That said, I'd open a support case and ask them how to manually kick off a UDT job for a specific node.  I can't see a verb in the UDT entities except for

AdministrativeShutdownAdministrativeEnable

And those are definitely not what you need.

My gut says "no" this isn't done with the PollNow verb from Orion.Nodes and my gut also thinks that there isn't a way to mess with the "UDT jobs" via the API.
