New to SW Orion Administration

Hello, Our systems administrators have a requirement to restart the VM's that run SolarWinds Orion Application and DB servers to prepare for VMotion to a new cluster. We have the DB and the VM's backed up and will acquire snap shots prior to reload.

Is there good documentation that can help me to safely prepare for this activity?

I am hoping to not send a barrage of email alerts after rebooting these VM's as well.

Any documentation and guidance would be very much appreciated.

This should be fine. Just boot the server (if necessary) after the database server has been rebooted.
