I have a windows administrator asking me to monitor and alert on the size of the Windows System Volume Information folder.
"The System Volume Information folder is a zone on your hard drive created by the Operating System and used by Windows for storing critical information related to the system configuration" Google*
I have a windows administrator asking me to monitor and alert on the size of the Windows System Volume Information folder. I already have volume alerts generating both proactive and reactive alerts to say when the C,D, E...drive is filling up. However, we had a drive filling up and it turns out that it was content in this System Volume Information folder that was culprit. So they want a seperate alert related to this folder that apparently exist on each drive.
TIA,
James Lindsay
