How to best use/display Modern Dashboards

So, i have been experimenting with Modern dashboards a bit lately, and I have a few that I think would be nice for some folks to view. The concern/issue i have is that I do not want to give them ANY rights to the "Settings" menu to be able to get to those dashboards.

I know we currently cannot mix classic/legacy and modern dashboards, but is there another way to be able to view these dashboards?

I thought about adding them as external links, but i don't want them in a "new" window - and if when i tested, it gave me 2 copies of the header menu.

I might be over-thinking this.

Good question. Using the custom html widget in a classic dashboard will allow you to set up an iframe and load the modern dashboard- but you would get twice the menu bars/headers.. Other than popping them in an external window via the user links widget (as you mentioned ), this is a tough one. I don't get twice the headers with the user links method though. You can chop the url to start with /orion/blahblahblah/ - this will keep them in their current webserver session.

The modern dashboards will eveeeennnntually replace the classic ones, so I dont think merging them into Classic dashboards is coming. I would rather get the multiple tabs in the modern dashboards, and just move forward completely with the modern dashboards.
