DNS hostname Vs DHCP Client Name

Hello,

I have a user that his DNS hostname is different than DHCP Client name. So how can solve it ?

Hi there,

I don't believe this should intrinsically be a problem, could you explain exactly what issues you are seeing when you try to monitor a device with this configuration?

the customer informed me that it should be the same or al least when the client name displayed in UDT it should be the correct name which is DHCP client name
