List of Thin Access Points/Wireless Heat Map Access Points - AP's not showing in alphabetical order

I think this question has been asked before but can't find a resolution.

When looking at the List of Thin Access Points / Wireless Heat Map Access Points using dashboard.Meraki.com, the AP's seem to show up in no particular order. It would be useful to have the list in alphabetical order so they can be found quicker, but I can't find a facility to do this.

Is this a 'feature' that still needs fixing?

Are you talking about the Meraki end or the SolarWinds end?

If SolarWinds then they have, in my use of it, a lot of areas that need addressing regards the order things are displayed in. Connection profiles being chief amongst them.

SolarWinds end. Meraki end works fine.

Seems pretty fundamental that you would need to order the data of any of the displays?

Thats too bad. The thread I found which was similar to my request was from over 10 years ago, so if they haven't managed to include an 'ORDER BY' facility by now, I recon its not going to happen!

I know this doesn't really solve the "problem" perse... but this data is in SWQL and could be put into a new custom modern dashboard if desired. Then order it any way you want.

Maybe its possible to create a custom query on the existing views and put a custom query there that could work but not sure. Doing so usually requires some parameter from the relevant device like ${NodeID} that can be referenced on the classic view.

Here's a starting point for the Access Points query in SWQL:
