Trigger Condition

Hi All,

I am new to SolarWinds and have been tasked with creating an SMS alert, I have been looking through different Forums but dont seem to find a good now here for help.

Is there a way to create one alert for 2 different trigger conditions such as Node Down and Virtual Host down? there doesn't seem to be an OR Block when adding a new section.

Below example would work perfectly with the OR Block, seems simple enough I know I can create 2 alerts for each just trying to Manage Alerts :-) Keep to a minimum.

Thoughts?

Rather than breaking it down into two groups like you have, I would suggest setting the alert conditions to be like the image below.

This alert would trigger if the machine is a server with a machine type of VMWare ESX Server in a down status.
