To monitor hpe nonstop servers

Hello Networks,

Recently I came across a new requirement from one of my client and I need some suggestions on to it as this is something new for me.

Requirement is client want to monitor hpe nonstop servers in Solarwinds, can someone please suggest if this is really possible.

I am also looking for some understanding on nonstop servers as well is it like a private cloud or something.?

Nonstop servers if I recall correctly were what used to be the old Tandem Nonstop servers.

They have a very different OS. I am not sure what they look like today as I worked with them over 20 years ago.

I am not sure if they can be virtualized these days or if HPE is offering them in a cloud solution these days.
Based on that, you might look into SNMP for starters.

Hi can you help me to get mib database or oids to monitor through SNMP. It will be great help as i am unable to get them from hpe support .

And SNMPv1 polling is not giving me any information.

somehow i managed to configure few alerts using snmp traps, getting challenges to create alerts for below parameters as i cannot see any traps generated for this

CPU memory: < 8% physical memory left

Disc status

Disc usage <15000 MB space <3000 MB largest

KMSF swap space: total reserved over total threshold

Low pin: > 245

Named processes agreed

QIO: >50% used

Tapemedia, low number of scratch tapes
