copy Orion database to new SQL server

I will migrate Orion server and SQL server to new hardware. For Orion server part new server is build. I want to upgrade NPM, SAM, NTA,NCM,WPM,VNQM to recent version 2020.2.6 (currently: Orion Platform is 2017.1) by the occasion. So my plan is to copy Orion database to new SQL server and then install recent versions on new Orion server with connection to copied database. My question is if old database will work with newest modules or it may cause any problem?

That will work; install Orion on new server but don't run config wizard. Move database to new SQL. Run config wizard on new orion server.

But, there are some extra things you need to do. Run some SQL scripts after moving the db and reset the license store. Look at this page for more info:
