Currently we manage our APs through Cisco Prime, and due to environmental issues (replacing/moving APs), we don't have static IP assignments on our APs. We are currently still planning to monitor/configure the devices through Cisco Prime, but would like to be able to check down status on the APs, and were planning on doing this through ICMP polling.
Since Cisco Prime is managing the APs we don't have DNS entries for the devices, and would need to update/re-add the APs everytime they change their IP Address.
My question is this: is there a way to integrate with CAPWAP/CISCO Prime in order to get/maintain/update the IPs in SolarWinds directly, or if there's a different way to complete this?
