Just for POC purposes only. I'm planning to install NPM, NCM, and their Database all on the same server. Will the NPM & NCM work as expected?
Yes it will, you might experience performance problems but it'll all work together on one server.
Yes, If it's only for a proof of concept, you can run everything on one server/VM. You can even use SQL Express if you are not concerned about performance and storing lot's of data (https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/SQL-server-limitations?language=en_US ). You can even install on a desktop operating system, such as Windows 10, 64-bit Pro or Enterprise, which are supported for evaluation environments only.
