Permission to Schedule Maintenance without Node Management Rights?

Hi, 

Is there a way to grant a group the ability to schedule maintenance for a node without Node Management Rights?

We have a Service Desk group that we'd like to grant them to place certain nodes in Maintenance.

Yes, "maintenance mode" and "node management" rights are 2 distincts things :
