Run Orion NTA separate from Orion NPM

Currently i am using Orion NPM, can i install and run NTA v3.5 on a separate box or does this need to run on the same box as NPM?

It has to run on the same box as the NPM. I had to install it on the same server and would have liked to seperate it to a different server so save on server load, but unfortunately will not run separately.

Thanks for the reply, yes i was wanting to run them separately for this reason too, as well as for redundancy, if one box goes down the other service is not affected.

We did try and run NTA on our NPM box but we had issues with the data base. We are using SQL Express version, though the documentation states that this can be used.

When running both on the same box, will we need to upgrade to SQL Standard or Enterprise?
