SWIS API - Execution Timeout while fetching data

Facing error while fetching data via SWIS API. "Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding."

Anybody aware of this error? Is there a fix for this problem?

Thanks you very much for the reply here. May i clarify one thing.

Is this information from the KB article applicable for API call as well? The time out i am facing is while running the API call to get data.

It should be. The SWIS (SolarWinds Information Service) is the "hosted" process on your server that controls the timeouts.
