Can this be done and if so how.

I want the ip address of the router interface GigabitEthernet0/0/1 and write to the custom property of the node Internet_IP_Address

I would like to schedule it to run everynight.

I had not thought about the alert prospective, interesting idea. Can I up date a custom property from the alert.

Currently I am running a report and manually updating the cp.

I want to remove the cut and paste out of it.

Ok, just trying to line up my thinking on this one.

You would need an alert to change the CP.

You would need Orion to identify the interface (?a/any/specific?) router.  Either through a Config Type or validation of sorts.
