Manage API Pollers step by step setup

I am trying to understand SolarWinds documentation on creating an API in Azure for purposes of Monitoring our Office 365 environment and it is somewhat confusing.

Configure credentials for an API poller in SAM (solarwinds.com)

Does anyone have exact step by step for setting this up? I get this error:

A couple of thoughts here, first, I believe that manage.office.com api endpoint is retired. Second, do you have an MS Graph enterprise application setup with permissions and an oath2 token? The credential that you will create needs oath2 for the graph stuff.

Lastly, petri IT has a nice write up on a VERY confusing issue with Graph and Microsoft status reporting. short version, you can retrieve multiple contradictory information from different administrative endpoints in azure. Make sure you are using ms graph and NOT AD Graph as AD Graph is going bye-bye. Also - be prepared for things to change in azure. Its a living thing and will change, sometimes weekly, without much notice. I am convinced that azure is a toddler in the terrible two phase of life sometimes.

If anyone else wants to chime and correct me where I am wrong, please do so! The MS Graph api is both a blessing and a curse in my experience. But I am also not an expert, which is why it is causing me grief.

Thanks for the feedback, however I do have access to Graph and Azure and what I'm not seeing from SolarWinds is a step by step to set this up in a quick and easy manor. Seems very cumbersome to setup up and too many articles to go by. If anyone knows of a step by step to setup monitoring of M365 services such as licensing that would be beyond helpful please.

Here is good thwack post on this. I dont have a better detailed write up. There is a post from Jan (cant think of his thwack handle, he is one of the product managers) has some great info in thwack about API pollers. @KMSigma.SWI might be able to chime in too. I think there are some videos on the API stuff also.
