SWQL query to extract hostname from SolarWinds Traps Message.

mesverrum We are getting traps in SolarWinds for Meraki devices via single source which is Meraki controller. In the trap message it has device name from where the actual traps are coming.

Need your help on extracting hostname details from trap message. Highlighted in Yellow.

Is the slash after the hostname always present?

Roughly the format you're looking for is a SQL/SWQL macro using the traps variable and performing something with CHARINDEX/SUBSTRING etc

CHARINDEX of the quote at the end of ""label":"" minus CHARINDEX of the end of the hostname. Substring that out.

You'll have to figure out what the end character is. The Following quote perhaps if not the "/ 26"
