Is there a way to add a delete button on the Nodes Notes widget?  The only way I have found to remove notes is to do so from the Database.  This is not ideal for our NOC since they do not have access to the database.  Also, in the nodes notes section, is there a way you can enter multiple lines without the enter key adding the note before you are finished entering it?

You could simply give them Node Management access on their accounts? That would be the easiest way. 

If Node Management is too much access you could also consider allowing your NOC to have access to Unmanage or Mute and node under the account settings. That will provide enough access so they can unmanage the node without giving enough to actually perform a Delete action. 

It will also allow them access to the Manage Nodes resource with limited capabilities.

When a node is deleted all references to the node get deleted along with it including the Name, Notes, Custom Properties, etc. that you may wish you still had if the node was deleted by accident. 

If you do it in this manner and have the NOC fill in the reason it is being unmanaged you can put together a resource to display Unmanaged nodes and the Notes on your main screen and then let the Solarwinds Admins do the actual deletes.
