We actioned a failover a week or two back as we have to move the primary hardware running our SolarWinds environment, and one thig we didn't pick up on at the time was backups that use SCP to transfer the configs. My colleague that would have set this all up is on annual leave so I'm trying to resolve but don't know how it was initially configured.
So, as per my heading really but some detail:
- This is for F5 configs and we are using the default F5 Big IP 12 and newer 'device template'.
- The 'connection profile' works when tested and is set to transfer configs via SCP
However the weekly job is now full of the following:
ERROR: Running config: Error Downloading Config to SCP Host: a.b.c.d
The IP listed as a.b.c.d is the right IP for our HA box.
So the question is what am I missing please? Is there some secret sauce setting we need to tick or change?
