Microsoft Deprecating Basic Auth O365 SMTP

Is anyone else paying attention to this announcement who uses O365 for email alerts?

Does anyone use AWS SES for SMTP alerting duties?

We can't get away from email alerts with other more advanced notification methodologies, so I'd love to hear any ideas of transitioning away from O365 to a resilient cloud based SMTP solution.

We use a local free bee Linux SMTP server to work as a local relay for our dumb devices like copiers, printers, cameras, etc. that does not support the advance authentication. We had to modify our external DNS SPF records to reflect that mail relay so it will not get hung up or blocked in the spam filter for gmail and such.

We still use O365 for Outlook and such, just the local simple devices use the local relay.

Thanks, looking at SendGrid as well. We have to totally get rid of all internal alerting using O365 with this upcoming change. I know there's a gazillion different ways to go on this.I've never used AWS SES. Seems like a logical choice but wish I had more feedback from SW users. I miss the easy on-prem Exchange relay days.
