How to create an alert on drive space with virtual machines to email me.

I'm trying to create an alert on disk drive space (ie. E: drive if it get say 80% full) send an alert via email to me.

Just customize the out of the box disk space alert and add a filter for Manufacturer = VMware (or whomever makes your hypervisor).

In your instance, just find the one that's close (probably a disk space warning one) check the box and select Duplicate and Edit.
