How to Change Volume size to Giga Bytes (GB)

SELECT TOP 10 e.Caption as Node, n.Caption as Volume, n.VolumeSize , n.VolumePercentAvailable , n.VolumePercentUsed
FROM Orion.Volumes n, Orion.Nodes e where e.NodeID=n.NodeID and n.VolumeType='Fixed Disk'

That's is my query, how to change the result in volume size to GB, the default is in bytes

SELECT TOP 10 e.Caption as Node, n.Caption as Volume, concat(round(n.VolumeSize/1024/1024/1024,2), ' GB') AS [Capacity] , n.VolumePercentAvailable , n.VolumePercentUsed
FROM Orion.Volumes n, Orion.Nodes e where e.NodeID=n.NodeID and n.VolumeType='Fixed Disk'

Hi there,

There's no particular command you can use for this, but usually I see this done by changing:

n.VolumeSize

into

<span class="s19">ROUND</span><span class="s10">(</span><span class="s11">n</span><span class="s10">.</span><span class="s11">VolumeSize</span><span class="s10">/</span><span class="s4">1024</span><span class="s10">/</span><span class="s4">1024</span><span class="s10">/</span><span class="s4">1024</span><span class="s10">,</span><span class="s4">2</span><span class="s10">)</span><span class="s0"> </span><span class="s5">AS</span><span class="s0"> </span><span class="s10">[</span><span class="s11">Capacity</span><span class="s0"> </span><span class="s11">GB</span><span class="s10">]</span>

That will give you a column like this:

Alternatively, you can do something like this:

In that example the Round(n, p) function is really useful to format output it consistently. Many of my reports set 'p' to 0 so there only integers displayed.
