We've been having an issue for the last several months where a single additional polling engine (APE) is having times where an instance of SWJobEngineWorker2x64.exe will have runaway memory consumption. Whether it's a cause or a symptom is up in the air still, we'll have this engine's job queue reach the 4 digits. Additionally, regardless of whether the job engine can work through the queue, the memory usage will continue to climb.
This APE is utilized for most of our WMI monitoring, along with a decently weighty load of application monitors, but we are well below the thresholds described in the following support article: documentation.solarwinds.com/.../orion_platform_scalability_engine_guidelines.htm
There does not seem to be any sort of rhythm or observable reason why it happens but we've noticed that it can happen as often as multiple times in the same day or as seldom as one instance every 14+ days.
We've had a case open with support since the issue started but just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this.
