Why isn't there a simple basic Report for ALL the devices in NCM not just all the Cisco devices?

It's crazy frustrating the NCM has Reports but they are SO Cisco centric after years of the product being out there and many of us using it to back up all kinds of different vendors gear. Yes I know I can create a report but isn't a basic Inventory of NCM report intended to report all of what you have in NCM?? and yes I know you can create your own custom report but seems like years and years later the report writer still requires a hefty learning curve just to print a basic listing of devices. In my case a re-learning curve, agh!

anyone have any samples of such a report?

okay... so you have to put these into report write somewhere, true? appreciate the tip I just wish I didn't need to be a sql ace to do a report out of the NCM database. the provided inventory stuff is so Cisco centric, why does it have to be?

Yes, you can add this as an SWQL query in the Web Report Creator.
