Alert if more 60% of elements group are down, can I do it?

Question

It happen that I lost connection to remote site and I receive a lot of alert email about down of every node in the remote site; so there is a possibility to receive only 1 alert if I've more 60% device down in remote site?

I need to maintain an email about on single node if I've a specific fault.

Hi,

The best way is to look at groups and dependency's, make the node that SolarWinds go through to get to these devices on the remote site the parent and the devices beneath the children.

Then if the parent node does down the child nodes go into an unreachable state so alerts wont fire for these and just the parent will alert
