Orion Database Failed (New Install in AWS)

Came into the new organization that was running an older version of Solarwinds on-premise on a Win2008 server. Checking the upgrade checklist, it wasn't compatible, so decided to deploy a fresh VM in AWS (Windows 2019). After running the Solarwinds-Orion-NCM installer, received a message about Orion database failed (shown in the attachment). Selected the Lightweight installation and after getting through all of the screens successfully, this popped up. Any help would definitely be appreciated.

It looks like the password is wrong or you dont have permissions. Check the SQL log for the login error also make sure your account has enough rights.

• If you are creating a new database:
  • As with a fresh installation or adding a product that needs to create a new database, like NTA or LA
  • The user account must be a member of the dbcreator server role. 
    • Note: The sysadmin role and the SA user account are always members of dbcreator

 

• If you are using an existing database: 
  • As in upgrading an existing product, like NPM 2019.4 to 2020.2
  • The user account needs only to be in the db_owner database role for the existing database.

 

• If you are creating a new SQL account for use with Orion NPM: 
  • As with a fresh installation or installing a new product, like NTA or LA
  • The user account must be a member of the securityadmin server role.
    • Note: The sysadmin role and the SA user account are always members of securityadmin.

 

• If you are using an existing SQL account: 
  • As when running the Configuration Wizard after minor changes are made
  • The user account needs only to be in the db_owner database role for the Orion NPM database.
