What are you all doing as far as physical preventative maintenance on your network hardware? I have routers and switches deployed in a variety of locations, some of which are dusty/dirty and where the temperature fluctuates greatly. Others are in clean, climate-controlled buildings. My organization has no PM standards, and I would like to develop them. So what kind of PM are y'all doing in terms of how often? how deep do you clean? Are you just blowing them out with compressed air or are you partially disassembling? I know this isn't purely a Solarwinds NPM question but I figured you all would be a good place to go to find out how other organizations are handling PM.
Does your organization have a Preventative Maintenance Program? If so, can you share the content of it as pertains to network hardware?
